Santiago graduated in International Business in his local city of Mar del Plata, Argentina in 2002.
In a city with a thriving fishing industry, it was natural to get involved with a local company that dealt in international affairs selling products such as fish meal, fish oil, fish soluble animal feed and frozen products for human consumption (whole round fish, fillets, HGT, etc).
With all of these very different products, each one with its own complexity, has given him the chance to travel the world promoting and learning on every step of the way. From sales to logistics, dealing with customs, official organisms, or documentation, it’s hard to find a place where he hasn’t been before in the export/import chain.
He still lives in his beloved coastal city of Mar del Plata, Argentina. He is the father to three children: Sofia (20), Manuel (18) and Simon (13). An animal lover, he has two dogs, two cats, and two Guinea pigs (though the Guinea pigs are definitely his daughter’s idea), and is passionate about open water swimming just a few minutes from home.
