Ben Hubbard serves as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel for Integrated Proteins.
Prior to joining Integrated Proteins in 2019, Ben practiced law as a patent attorney at Shook, Hardy & Bacon. In this role, he provided patent prosecution, general intellectual property law, portfolio valuation, and counseling services to some of the most successful and recognizable brands in the world. The scope of Ben’s practice has afforded him the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of industries, ranging from software and technology to manufacturing.
During his career, Ben has been selected to present at continuing legal education conferences and to speak at a variety of events on topics within his areas of expertise.
Before beginning his legal practice, Ben attended UMKC School of Law where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. While in law school, Ben was a member of and published in the UMKC Law Review, served as Managing Editor of The Urban Lawyer, and received six CALI Excellence for the Future Awards. Prior to law school, Ben worked for the American Red Cross in Virginia after receiving his bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with a Business Emphasis.
